This is going to be something of a long post, but not really. I'm going to be wordy, I think. But it's out of love & for the love of it. I know people really do enjoy me sharing my thoughts, so I'll try to be more open with my mind, but not more open minded, if you catch what I'm saying.
1. First Gift Box Shipped Out!

As I said in an older post, I was sending a total of four gift boxes out. I shipped the first gift box out to Spice. This is her Instagram if you're unfamiliar with who I'm speaking of. I'm excited about this. Truthfully, it was my first time sending a shipment from home to another country. I've done it before, but it's been through a drop shipper. I did not know I had to fill out a form. I wasn't expecting it & had to come up with some stuff on the spot. It was not comfortable "lol". I even gave the wrong value of the contents of the package. I'll do better next time. Sometimes, we make mistakes. It happens. Can't be afraid to make mistakes. Can't be afraid to fail.
Ultimately, I forgot to take photos of stuff inside & the letter I handwrote. But it's seven pieces of merch...
'Why don't you want me?' Message Tee
Flamingos Tee [Heather Orange]
Blue adorá Embroidered Tee
adorá Lifestyle Crop Top [Peacock]
Vintage adorá Polaroid Crop Top
Distressed Denim Roses Dad Had
Distressed Acid Washed Denim Shorts
Along with a letter I handwrote & the three stickers I've made thus far, that's the contents of the package. I turned on text alerts for the tracking, so I know every time it moves. Right now, it's in Jamaica, Queens, New York. I can't wait for her to get this box. I'm praying the timing lines up with other things I got planned.
2. Show at The Saint
On the 22nd of this month, a friend of mine had the pleasure of performing on stage at The Saint in Asbury Park, New Jersey. When I heard about the show, I had to support because I know how important it is to support dreams. It take time & attention. Yes, money too, but that comes & goes. The latter does not, it only gets spent & you can't get it back.
I brought the ticket from him in advance. On the day of, I had grabbed my camera, stickers & all else I thought I needed. About a third of the way there, I realized I left my ticket on my felt board in my room. I was already running late so I was a little dismayed at the fact I had to turn around. I prayed the same prayer I've been praying for weeks now while walking: "Father, please work all things out for my good because that's what You said You'll do for those who love You & I love you. In Jesus' name. Amen." Once I arrived to the venue, it was around eight; about fifteen minutes after he told me he would be on stage. After entering, I scanned the room. Lord behold, he was in the midst of the floor, surrounded by others whom I knew. I quickly greeted all & asked him had he performed yet. He said no. I can say with confidence that things always work out for my good.
Within a few minutes of me being there, the host got on stage & said that Isaiah would be performing next. I hadn't heard any of the songs on his latest project yet, but I was there to support & take photos. Moments before he took the stage, another friend of mine, Kashaun, came to me & asked if I could hold his camera because Isaiah had asked him to come up on stage with him. I automatically thought, 'I'm about to be handling two cameras at once. I was created for such a time as this.' I just needed him to give me the fastest tutorial on how to use his camera.
I found myself in the left hand corner of in front of the stage. The entire time, I wish I could move around like I owned the place, but my sense of assertiveness lost to the responsibility of keeping my bag in sight. At first, I used Kashaun's Canon 5D Mark IV, but I realized I didn't know how to switch it from video to photo mode. Had I not been playing attention when he gave me the run down? Regardless, I shifted to mine & took photos when I could & recorded videos with his when I felt it was the moment to do so.

I cannot lie, Isaiah's performance was something of legend. He was able to project his energy & captivate the crowd with his voice alone. I found myself being more inclined to listen to the way he performed the song rather than the track being played. During his performance, other artists who were there ended up going up on stage too. Even his brother took part. This in itself proved how unmatched his presence was. You felt him, you heard him, you saw him. He was the show.
To be honest, the ticket was ten dollars, but I can say without a doubt it should had been worth more. Not just because of his act, but there were several others who came & did their part. However, I feel the need to express how grand of a spectacle Isaiah's set was. I always knew he was talented when it came to the art of rapping, but being on stage is a different beast. I went into it not expecting to find that under the glow of DMX linked lights is where he shines best.
I ended up taking over 370 photos that night. I still need to go through them all & make edits or clips like the one above. Not all of the photos I took were perfect, so I'll only be sharing the ones I feel are of quality.
Like I said, it's a long post, but it's not. My next post will be more traditional & I'll have more to speak on when it comes to my brand & such. There are things I want to share now, but I'll rather wait.
I wish you all success. I appreciate who ever took the time to read this. Have a blessed day. I love you.
